China's digest periodical "DUZHE" ("Reader") has seen its circulation exceeding 10 million in April, and the semimonthly remains to be the country's most read magazine. First published in 1981, Reader has ranked among the top ten in circulation among Chinese magazines for 13 consecutive years. The periodical entered the North American market in the United States and Canada in 2004. Reader ranked the first among magazines in Asia and the fourth among magazines worldwide in terms of circulation in 2004.
